Setting up Google Ads conversion tracking without hunting for conversion IDs and labels
Conversion ID, label, conversion linker, consent: Google Ads tracking needs many parts. Trackum takes care of the legwork.

Why Google Ads tracking so often fails
For every conversion, Google Ads needs a conversion ID and a label. They are buried deep in the settings, and anyone who does not work with them every day can hardly find them. Then there is the conversion linker and consent. If one part is missing, Google Ads reports too little.
How it works at Trackum
- You provide your Google Ads customer ID
- Trackum sends an invitation from its manager account
- You accept it in Google Ads
- Trackum creates the conversion actions and adds them to Tag Manager
→ Cookie banner with Consent Mode v2: compliant, with no monthly license
What gets set up
The Google Ads tag with its own consent check, the conversion linker and the conversion tags for your events. The tag that Tag Manager would otherwise create by itself without a consent check is replaced by Trackum with its own one using ad_storage. So nothing from Google Ads loads before consent.
Tested before it goes live
Before you approve it, every setup runs in a test version: without consent, no request to Google Ads; with consent, every conversion arrives exactly once. Only when you approve is it published.
→ Setting up Google Consent Mode v2 correctly: no warning in Tag Assistant
Cost
At Trackum, the setup with Google Analytics 4 and e-commerce costs 150 euros, with 50 euros each for Google Ads and Meta, so 250 euros one-time in total. Sales from a CRM can be added as offline conversions.
